« Job Description »

Our clients were established in 1990 as a supplier and installer of advanced control and monitoring systems for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) plant and equipment. They operate an international business from our head office in Hampshire, and have a national network of local partners and resellers. An accomplished Project Engineer is required to carryout the commissioning support and final handover of projects carried out using Trend or NCS2000 controller technology on building and energy managements systems. Ensuring projects remain within budget and to pre-defined time scales. Responsibilities include Prove the correct operation of existing plant prior to the interface between control systems. Maintain a rolling `Project Work Schedule` detailing current projects and their key milestone and timescales, critical path dates, installation, programming, commissioning, handover and completion requirements. Project engineer, design, configure and commission building and energy management systems using Trend system technology. Take a leading role in commissioning where required to ensure projects are completed to the required standard and on time. Ensure all system designs and software configurations necessary for the completion of the project are handed over to support department on completion of the project. Download software generated by applications engineering / or yourself and verify the accurate operation of all field equipment, stroking valves dampers etc. and checking the accuracy of field measuring instruments, record and document in handover documentation. Follow quality control procedures for the handover and sign-off which ensures rigorous test procedures are completed for all control software and system configuration programmes, prior to inclusion in any project design application.
