Reputable Multidisciplinary Consultancy seeks to recruit a Senior Street Lighting Technician for their expanding Highways division. Based in the company`s East Midlands office, ideal candidates will hold City & Guilds in Electrical Installations, preferably with ONC in Electrical Engineering and a good knowledge of Street lighting techniques & Lighting design software. You should also be working towards membership of the Institution of Lighting Engineers. Within this role you will work alongside the Principal Engineer, assisting them by working on site surveys, lighting design, and training other technicians. You will also carry out assessments of existing lighting schemes, prepare drawings and specifications which meet with relevant standards & procedures. A Full, UK driving licence is required for this role as travelling will be a major part of the job.
