Highly respected Building Management Systems House, part of a larger organisation is looking to recruit an accomplished Commissioning Supervisor who will be responsible for the organisation and management of a team of commissioning engineers, apprentices and trainees in the setting to work of Building Management Systems. Also attendance and reporting of site commissioning and progress meetings, training and development of team members and first management support to the commissioning manager. Establish commissioning plan to cover all precommissioning, software commissioning, testing and demonstration activities Attend site project and progress meetings Complete project and progress reports to commissioning manager Liaise with commissioning manager and project managers to plan resource allocations Monitor and report on attendance records, holiday and sickness/absence Develop and implement training and development plan for each team member Ensure apprentices/trainees receive adequate and appropriate training and instruction Monitor and report on progress and activities of each team member Establish project priorities to maximise engineer’s time and efficiencies Direct Installation teams with Project manager to achieve commissioning program Supplement commissioning resource to achieve commitment dates Ensure complete and correct documentation for each project Ensure correct completion certificates are obtained for each project. Must understand control panels, electrical and motive power principles and relay logic· Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings Understanding network topology Previous experience of mechanical, electrical and control systems and Ethernet Proven experience of running major and complex projects Understanding of Integration technologies and principles It would be desirable if the applicant had previous exposure to Trend and Tridium systems.
