A Large Worldwide consultancy with over 80 offices & 6000 staff has a vacancy for a Senior Transport Planner for their Basingstoke office. Applicants should have strong experience in transport modelling and knowledge of EMME2, SATURN & other transport planning software. You will manage projects & a team of modellers and also be involved in developing & tendering for new business. Responsibilities will include ensuring the successful delivery of projects, providing a wide range of traffic & transportation expertise to multi-disciplinary projects and co-ordinating technical & project management focus for the application of specialist traffic & transportation skills. You will also be expected to assist in the expansion of the existing traffic & transportation team at the Basingstoke office. Candidates are required to hold a good first degree in a numerical subject (i.e. Maths, Geography or Engineering) with ideally a post graduate qualification in traffic & transportation. You should also have strong experience in multi-modal modelling, transportation assessments & feasibility studies and have knowledge in using VISSUM, ARCADY, PICADY and other related programmes & software.
