« Job Description »

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is keen to recruit an Ecologist for their Edinburgh office. Candidates must have at least a first degree in a relevant subject and a clear understanding of ecological principles within a UK context. Ecologists are encouraged to gain full membership of the IEEM and are provided with any support needed to do this. You will work on various projects including wind farms, ecological monitoring schemes and environmental impact assessments and responsibilities will include documenting technical & project related material, identifying & resolving problems and managing client expectations. You may also be given the opportunities to expand & develop new & existing business and will often liaise with clients. This role will involve working in Scotland, England & Ireland and so candidates must have the flexibility to work away from home & the office for long periods of time and to sometimes work unsociable hours.
