to £45k - £50k dependant on experience
Job Description
Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with offices across the UK and in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, seeks to recruit a Senior Project Engineer for their Traffic and Project Development team to be based in their London office. The job will entail undertaking traffic & highway improvement schemes, projects and investigations as required. Applicants must be qualified to degree level or similar with in depth experience of Civils, Highways and Transportation Engineering. The successful candidates` duties will include producing risk assessments & detailed programmes and keeping this up to date for the design & construction stages of projects, preparing tenders & analysing returns and ensuring that all legislation & regulations are compliant. You will be required to supervise and liaise with contractors and check that the accounts are correct and you will undertake various parts of the design process i.e. estimates, feasibility studies and detailed design. Some overtime and working outside of normal work hours will be required and so staff must be flexible.
