Job Description
Our clients employ around 250no.building services engineers. There is an immediate need for a Senior Chartered Mechanical Design Engineer, who has the potential to act as Job Leader on building services projects in their Leeds office. Applicants should also have a strong background in sustainable buildings design, in particular high quality concept and scheme design with renewable technologies and low energy solutions. Responsibilities will include working closely with clients, architects and other staff engineers as part of a dedicated and skilled team, and provide significant design input to high profile projects.
With building service design experience additional duties will include maintaining HVAC design files to a high standard. Preparation of calculations in conjunction with Quality Management System. Maintaining an informed position on all projects within the group.
The successful candidate will be CIBSE accredited, degree qualified, a Chartered Engineer or very close to. You will require knowledge of NES Specifications, and comprehensive experience in Cymap and computer literate in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Outlook.
