Job Description
Our clients are a rapidly expanding Building Services consultancy with two offices in the Yorkshire area. They are looking to recruit an accomplished Senior Electrical Design Engineer educated to at least HNC level. The successful applicant will be working generally on new-build and refurbishment office projects, retail developments, schools/colleges, hotels, laboratories, infrastructure projects, etc, throughout the North of England. Applicants should have several years experience within a Building Services Consultancy, be commercially minded, smart appearance and a good communicator, capable of representing the practice in Client and Design Team Meetings. Experience in the commercial, office, retail, education, laboratory, health, residential, mixed use and infrastructure sectors would be required. Some experience of air conditioning design is required, together with knowledge of latest Energy Efficient systems to comply with latest Building Regulations and Environmentally Friendly Legislation along with knowledge of HevaComp and Microsoft Office suite of programs. Commercial awareness and the need to design systems to meet budget constraints and the ability to produce budget cost estimates for electrical services installations is an essential requirement of the candidate.
