Job Description
An enterprising multi-disciplined consultancy is looking to expand its busy Leeds office with the addition of a Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the development of this office. You will work within an established team to take an active involvement in a variety of multidisciplinary refurbishment, modernisation and new build projects. You will be involved in building services projects across a number of sectors including educational, healthcare, and commercial .You will be involved in developing designs from concept through to construction stage. The successful candidates will be required to: Undertake design and Project Management for a variety of Electrical Building Services projects. Liaise with external clients and other design disciplines within the multi-disciplinary environment. Produce briefs, specifications, design drawings, survey work, and technical report writing. Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to junior electrical building services engineers when required. They are looking for suitably qualified individuals with a range of project based Electrical Building Services Design experience. Qualified to degree/HNC level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. A good level of post qualification experience in Electrical Building Services design. Being able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and take a lead on Building Services projects when necessary. Have an understanding and appreciation of Quality Assurance.Excellent report writing skills, with good overall MS Office experience.
