An award winning engineering and planning company currently seek to recruit a Principal Transport Planner to work in Central London. Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy offering a full range of design and engineering services to client in both public and private sectors. With several UK offices, they have built up an impressive and diverse portfolio of projects across a broad range of market sectors.
Our client is looking for an experienced Transport Planner ideally holding MSc Transport Planning and preferably a Chartered Engineer, with a significant level of experience gained primarily with UK based consultancies. Candidates applying for this post must have experience of transport planning; traffic engineering; compiling transport assessments (ideally also Travel Plans); project management; project planning and liaison with local authorities. Our client is specifically on the lookout for an individual who is ready for more responsibility, perhaps a Senior Planner looking to take the next step in their career. The successful applicant will manage and deliver transport assessments for a range of commercial and education developments, therefore experience within these sectors would be considered beneficial.
