Established for over 30 years, our client is a successful multidisciplinary consultancy offering a range of services relating to Traffic, Transportation, Civil and Environmental Engineering. An award-winning organisation with offices situated across the UK, they have amassed an impressive portfolio of projects within the construction sector. They are now on the lookout for a Principal Civil Structures Engineer to join the Rail team based in central London. Applicants must be Chartered with proven experience in the rail sector including: Over, under & footbridges; retaining structures; culverts & crossings; earth structures and foundations. Our client is seeking an engineer with a good degree and a significant level of relevant postgraduate experience. The successful candidate will have strong design/ analytical skills probably gained in a similar position with another UK based consultancy. You must also have experience of working with design and build contractors and must be able to manage projects to time and budget. Exceptional communication and client liaison skills are essential as is the ability to develop engineering solutions. Any business development knowledge would be considered beneficial.
