Job Description
Our client, a leading planning, urban design and economics consultancy, currently seek to recruit a Senior/ Principal Transport Modeller to join the expanding team at their London branch. With over 10 offices in the UK and Ireland, our client offers a broad range of design and has built up a notable portfolio of work since the company was founded in the sixties including high profile projects such as Crossrail and Edinburgh Tram. They have also recently been awarded the NCE Consultants of the Year Award.
They are now seeking a talented, self-motivated individual with a strong background in transport modeling and transport planning. Applicants must hold a good degree with extensive postgraduate experience including modeling using SATURN, Voyager/Cube, VISUM and multi modal modeling (4 stage) and demand modeling. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of relevant standards, procedures, guidelines and practices along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The successful applicant will act as a technical leader and project manager on a range of commissions and your work will include client liaison, technical control and staff supervision. You will be expected to contribute to the continuing growth and success of the company by winning and delivering high quality project work. Candidates familiar with LTS and Railplan or with any experience of Rail Modelling would have an advantage.
