Job Description
A leading GIS Consultancy providing geospatial products & services currently seeks to appoint a GIS Manager for their Southern office. The main role will be to provide line management to the GIS technical and GIS analyst staff and senior GI consultancy services to clients. The preferred GIS Manager will be highly proficient in the field of GIS, in order to support geo-consultancy services and other areas of company business. Our client is seeking a degree qualified individual with a good level of experience gained in a senior GIS position within a commercial environment. Applicants must have a solid background in GIS consulting including experience of geo-information management and specific knowledge and understanding of the INSPIRE directive. Additional requirements include excellent team management skills; advanced GIS knowledge in the fields of hosting, databases, GIS applications and services; experience developing or leading GIS development projects and strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
