Award winning international design and engineering consultancy established for over 150 years specialising in infrastructure, property and environmental services. They are a leader in their industry employing over 5000 members of staff across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. They currently have a requirement for a Principal Bridge Engineer to join the team at their successful Birmingham office. Our client is looking for an exceptional engineer to fill this position; Degree qualified and Chartered with MICE/MIStructE, the candidate will have a significant level of Bridge Engineering experience (minimum of 15 years). The preferred person will probably have previously worked as Principal Bridge Engineer for another consultancy and will have acquired several years post-chartership experience. Applicants must have vast experience designing concrete highway bridges and leading design teams, and must possess excellent communication skills. You must also be fully available for overseas travel for short and medium term secondments. This is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a talented team of professionals whilst working on high-profile projects.
