Job Description
Our client, an international environmental and geotechnical consultancy providing a comprehensive range of analytical advisory and design services, currently seeks to recruit an experienced Senior/ Principal Sustainability Consultant to join their environmental consulting team in London. The company provides a broad range of technical services including environmental impact assessment, environmental regulation & compliance, the investigation & remediation of contaminated land, and the design & implementation of sound environmental policies.
Candidates interesting in applying for this position must hold a first class degree in a relevant subject as well as an appropriate Masters degree and must have a good level of previous experience (3 years minimum) working in a sustainability consultancy role. Experience of BREEAM assessments is essential as is a current licence for at least one BREEAM scheme, preferably BREEAM Education and/or Code for Sustainable Homes. Any applicable professional affiliations would also be considered beneficial to the role.
The preferred applicant will play a key role in the London office, leading a small but expanding sustainability team. Responsibilities will include technical inputs; marketing; and business development for sustainability issues including BREEAM/ EcoHomes and the Code for Sustainable Homes, energy assessment and efficiency, renewable energy services, carbon management and other fields applicable to environmental sustainability issues.
