Leading global multidisciplinary consultancy employing over 6500 professionals in more than 45 offices across the world. Their services include Building Services, Civil & Structural Engineering, Transportation, Infrastructure, Environmental, Power and many other disciplines. Our client is currently expanding their Transport Modelling Division in the London office, meaning that there is now room for an experienced Senior Transport Modeller within the team. The team provides high level public transport and scheme appraisal advice to private and public sector bodies. Typical clients include Transport for London, BAA Ltd, Docklands Light Railway and London Underground. The ideal candidate will hold a good degree in a relevant subject with a considerable level of previous experience in Transport Modeling, preferably gained with another UK based consultancy. The successful Modeller will hold a primary position within the Transport Planning team of the company’s European Infrastructure Group. Reporting to the Section Manager & Ops Centre Manager, the successor will be fundamental in the development of the London Transport Planning & Modelling team and their service delivery to clients. They will also be strongly involved in the training, and direction of the Modelling team. Additional responsibilities will include project financial performance; project management; supervising Technical & Quality outcomes on projects and leading the team technically. Client Service and strong relationship development abilities are essential, as are first-rate leadership and mentoring expertise and communication skills at all levels.
