Job Description
Our Client is a leading global professional services consulting firm working with public and private sector clients across several chosen market areas. The Group has UK offices in London, Manchester, Scotland, Yorkshire and Newcastle providing services such as engineering, scientific studies, planning, economics, logistics, architecture, geotechnical engineering, project management and spatial information to clients throughout Europe. Due to expansion of the UK Transport Team, they are now seeking a Director of Transport Modelling to act as a pivotal member of their global transport function, and co-ordinate complex projects with key clients in the UK. Our client is specifically looking for a first-class candidate with a sound background in transport modelling and planning on major transport infrastructure projects of national significance or major regional significance. The ideal person for this role will be degree qualified in a relevant subject with a post graduate qualification in Transport Modelling or a closely related subject, and preferably Chartered with a significant level of post-qualification experience gained primarily with UK based consultancies. Applicants must have extensive experience of public inquiries for major transport infrastructure schemes; experience of modelling activities; and must be fully proficient in a range of computer software.
