Job Description
Award winning M&E Contractors seek to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator with several years relevant building service experience.Our clients specialise in projects to #4M value across a range of sectors. Applicants should be capable of undertaking both Pre-Designed and Design & Build Tenders. Taking tenders through from initial stages to completion, duties will include: receipt & review of tender documents; identification of subcontract areas & critical sections; issuing material & subcontract enquiries; surveys/ client liaison; HVAC Services design; take-offs; calculation of labour hours & costs; production of accurate project costs; value engineering activities; production of tender letter & cost breakdown; contributing to post tender meetings; handover of successful tenders to projects team.
Our client has a healthy forward order book resulting from long-term customer relationships developed over a number of years and can offer scope for further career advancement. Applicants will be able to demonstrate significant HVAC estimating experience with recognised Building Services Contractors which should include D&B contracts.
