A young dynamic architectural practice based in South West London currently has a requirement for an experienced contract Architectural Technician to join their expanding team. The successful Architectural Technician will work on a refurbishment project of a high spec grade II listed house in central London for one to two months initially. The ideal candidate will have a significant level of experience (approx. 8 years) working in the industry in high-end private residential projects, running similar projects in central London. Applicants must also have advanced CAD skills and be fully familiar with construction drawings i.e. external walls, extensions, roof construction details. Previous management experience is also essential as you will have assistance with drawings etc. Our client is looking for a technician with extensive experience dealing with Planning, Listed Building Consent, Building Control, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, services consultants and all other professions required in taking a project forward. The candidate will need excellent experience in detailing for extensions and infill extensions, DPM and substrate detailing for new foundations, dry lining, new roof construction detailing.
