Job Description
Our clients specialise in the design, manufacture, construction and commissioning of high voltage substations for customers in the UK and overseas.
We have a vacancy for an experienced Commissioning Engineer. The Commissioning Engineer will be required to:
Carry out duties in accordance with standard company Quality Assurance procedures and Work Instructions
Ensure that all testing is carried out with due regard to all current, National / International Standards and Legislation and Contract Specification
Carry out Inspection and Testing of Companys both in the UK and abroad
Ensure that all resulting commissioning documentation is fully completed and countersigned by client, in line with Company procedures
Ensure that there is sufficient and correct test equipment available on site, to enable the specified tests to be carried out
The successful candidate will have ideally attained an HNC in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or experience of hands on commissioning of Control and Protection Systems for EHV Substations up to 400kv. A willingness to travel is also imperative.
Please note - This is a Site Based travelling position. The successful candidate will be required to travel all throughout the UK.Previous experience is essential for this role and must have been obtained in HV Substation Environment.
