Job Description
Our clients specialise in the supply and installation of high and low voltage switchgear and cabling for London Underground. Due to an increase in workload and a substantial order book they are currently seeking to recruit the following candidate to be based at our new manufacturing facility in Scotland.
Responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible for a wide range of varied tasks that including the following:
Undertaking preliminary electrical design to allow costing of tenders
Detailed design of Control and Protection systems for Switchgear and Traction Substations
Preparation of technical specifications
Reviewing risk areas and initiating risk management.
It is essential that applicants will have experience in a similar role as well as a degree in Electrical Engineering and ideally holding chartered status.
