Job Description

Based in Oxfordshire, our client is a well established HVAC Mechanical Building Services Contractor handling projects across the Midlands & South to circa #3M value. They now need to recruit an additional HVAC Estimator at either Intermediate or Senior level to further strengthen their tendering operation. Handling tenders from receipt of enquiry through to submission, duties will include: costing mechanical installations to comply with the client’s design brief, specification and drawings; obtaining quotations from subcontractors & suppliers; negotiation of costs with subcontractors & suppliers, assisting in preparation of bid return documentation & in negotiating the order; liaising with all site personal and client representatives to ensure a smooth running project; use of computerised estimating software. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, projects will include school, hospital, defence, commercial and industrial developments.
