Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their UK/EMEA headquarters, as a Senior Consultant, delivering consulting services (Strategy Services and Design & Implementation Services) to our global FTSE 1000 client base, whilst working within a designated Practice area in our World Wide Delivery Team.
Leveraging deep technical, storage and backup services experience as well as in-depth knowledge of market demands, the Senior Consultant supports the definition of the GlassHouse Services offerings and partners with sales, delivery and clients to drive delivery procedures and support, ability to achieve booking and revenue targets.
We are currently looking for individuals with a solid experience (and ideally, certification) in the following technologies:
* Netbackup
* HDS storage
* Veritas clustering (storage/backup technologies)
* Solaris
Specific experience in the following technologies will be beneficial to your application; Device Manager or Volume Manager, Truecopy and CCI.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
* Consulting Services/technical consultant who has lead pre-sales engagement calls with customers and delivered engagements sold.
* Proven experience as a successful technical storage consultant with client relationship management, technical pre-/post-sales experience, and exposure to people management.
* Detailed knowledge of the storage industry and associated emerging trends.
* Demonstrated technical design and implementation of storage solutions
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Please note that the nature of consultancy means that consultants frequently have to travel to client sites, working onsite on a full time (eg, Monday to Friday) basis for extended periods of time. This requires all consultants to be flexible regarding travel and to be able to work away from home during the work week within the UK and potentially throughout EMEA as business needs may require. Consultants need to be fully mobile, which means they also need to have a full, clean driving licence as well as their own car.
