Our client is offering a unique opportunity to join their Academy Programme. They are looking to take on skilled junior technologists and `fast track` them through an intensive programme to become client facing IT Infrastructure Delivery Consultants. Founded in 2001, Our client has rapidly expanded, with offices in the USA, UK, Israel and Turkey. Our client is a leading independent consulting firm with proven experience transforming IT infrastructure. They are currently offering an opportunity to join their Industry recognised Academy Programme and to be part of a comprehensive on the job training scheme to develop you into a World Class Consultant, capable of supporting our global FTSE 1000 client base. The six month Academy Programme will provide successful candidates with a combination of practical training, formal mentoring and coaching and practical work experience to enable trainee consultants to achieve their full potential by performing at a level that their current environment does not enable. Our mission is to identify talent who will become the successful Consultants of the future. We are currently looking for individuals with a solid foundation (and ideally, certification) in the following Operating Systems: * Solaris * Unix * Windows Additionally, previous experience in storage and backup technologies such as EMC, HDS, NetBackup, CommVault and/or Enterprise Vault will be very beneficial to your application. Our Delivery Teams consists of dedicated, self-motivated and teamwork orientated people who will challenge, mentor and support you in achieving your best performance. Please note that the nature of consultancy means that consultants frequently have to travel to client sites, working onsite on a full time (e.g., Monday to Friday) basis for extended periods of time. This requires all consultants to be flexible regarding travel and to be able to work away from home during the work week within the UK and potentially throughout EMEA as business needs may require. Consultants need to be fully mobile, which means they also need to have a full, clean driving licence as well as their own car. Salary during the initial six months in the Academy Programme will pay up to #30k, depending on prior experience, with the first review of salary taking place upon graduation.
