Our award winning clients specialise in mechanical and electrical engineering for the public sector and private clients in commercial and industrial markets. They are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to work on projects in the north of England. Duties will include: Liaison with Main Contractor and Design Team Co-ordination of installation work on site Adherence to the company H&S Policy whilst being responsible for all H&S of operatives Giving site inductions/ regular tool box talks Ensuring all drawings are marked up as (As-Installed) as the project progresses Keeping a record of daily events including time keeping and instructions via Client Producing Risk and Method statements Keep P.P.E. and Plant Registers Communicating with internal design team ensuring all installations fully comply with relevant legislation Checking drawings for site installation Executing material take-offs from drawings Ensure the ordering and controlling of materials and plant equipment via the regional buyer are correct and ordered both in a timely & presentable manner Keeping records of deliveries and proposed returns Issuing site progress reports Supervision and allocation of duties to site-based labour Reporting to senior management as required Successful candidates will be time served with building services industry experience.
